System offline: unable to retrieve galaxy at war status

Hi Whenever i go into the war map I get  the message: System offline: unable to retrieve galaxy at war status Without the map I cannot move the ship What is wrong and how do I fix it? brgds Jer...

I didn't notice that there was an item to connect to alliance network on the main menu of the game.

also, to drive the ship is in the Galaxy Map, not in the War Map.
