This is what ME2 does half the time I try to launch it (Steam)

The trilogy launcher opens fine, then when I try launching ME2 it goes to this black rectangle and sits there until it freezes.  Only way to fix is to reboot my PC, I get one good ME2 launch per syst...

There are bugs, but if it were the game, it would either start or not start.

So, it is very likely that something on your system is interfering with the game.

No issues with literally any other game I've played since building this thing unless it was something a driver update or software patch had to fix.  If I have to reboot to fix it of course rebooting with fewer services will fix it as well.
