From a MP point of view, I prefer the N7. I don't like burst fire that much.
I don't mind bursts myself, so that's not a deal braker
You can always dump the other

research points are a bit more scarce, can't upgrade both without doing it half-a**ed.
Matter of taste. Hornet is burst, Hurricane is full-auto.
Go for Hornet if you prefer precision/headshots.
Go for Hurricane if you want point & spray.
Some augments behave very differently semi-auto vs full-auto. Anything specific you are looking to use?
