I found the doctor first, the dealers second. The quest was removed from my log. I saw online (I don't recall where) where a post indicated it completed. The lost is a little long to scroll through and confirm ATM.

However, I also had the quest for movie night disappear mid quest until i spoke to the next person in the chain and they volunteered the information. SAM also insists i have new e-mail in my terminal. So YMMV.
