Unable to Give Medicine from "Herbal Entrepreneurs" to Doctor

PC player here and yep, just returned the plant to the doctor at the refugee house and all he keeps saying "Let me know if you find some medicine."

I even went back to the stoner house to make sure I scanned the plant and there wasn't an option to take a sample. ("Press 'E" To Collect" or something like that)

Guess it's not a high-priority fix. *shrug*
