Forum Discussion
Of note the BEX errors at beginning of the DXDiag errors is for IGOProxy32 and ProcID.exe.....the IGO one is EA play app, and the ProcID one is Intel Processor identification utility....and are likely conflicting with each other. May want to try uninstalling the Intel one if possible or disabling it in start-up and see if it works then.
If this doesn't help, continue to follow Holger's advice, as one of the better diag ones on this forum.

@mcsupersport Thanks for your answer.
Regarding to your suggestion, the Intel Processor identification utility is not installed on my computer: in all the forums i checked to try to solve my issue, one of them suggested to do a verification throuygh this tool so i tried to install it 2-3 tmes but the installation crashes each time so i gave up for this tool...
Thanks again for having tried to help me.. :-)

@holger1405 : so here are the results:
No errors for steps 3 and 5.
And the message received for step 8 is the following below (sorry, my computer is in french... but according to it, there is no violation integrity):
Le programme de protection des ressources Windows n’a trouvé aucune violation d’intégrité.
Thanks for your help.

OK, lets try something else.
Do you have a second EA account or does someone play on that system with a different EA account?
(If so, let us know and don't do the following, if not, do the following). Please clear your temp files:
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
- Into the new window, type or copy & paste: "%temp%" (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
- Now your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
(If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)
Then:
- Go here and download "Revo Uninstaller". (The freeware version, Portable version works too.)
- Run "Revo Uninstaller" > Uninstall EA app.
- At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "intensive" > Browse.
- If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next
- When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All (Make sure the "Origin Games" or "EA games" folder is not in the list) > Delete.
- Restart the PC > Reinstall the newest version of EA app from here.

@holger1405 : as i have only one EA account and as no one else plays on my computer with another EA account, i did these steps but unfortunately, the issue is still here...
I was not able to have no files/folders in the temp folder as for example as soon as Chrome is launched, it generates temp files/folders in this folder.. but i delete most of them, reboot my computer, delete the remaining few ones so i this folder was emplty for a few seconds until some applications like Chrome have been launched...
Thanks for your help !

Create a new Windows user account (Administrator) don't use local special characters, use only Characters from the ASCII table
- Reboot > Log in to the new user account.
- Test the games in the new account.
- HaveFun19754 months agoRising Rookie
@holger1405 : same isue... unfortunately...
Do you still have many other tricks in your bag ? :-)

A lot, the problem is that we don't really have a direction because we still don't have any information as to why the games don't start.
- Follow this manual to the letter to cleanly uninstall all NVIDIA components.
- Install the graphics driver. > Go online
- Test.

@holger1405 Good, to know... ;-)
I know this in the 2nd most problem for that: no error message...
So to let you know, i followed your guide (and was a little bit reluctant when i saw, at the 1rst opening of DDU, the warning indicated that things could be worse after... ) and same issue...Yesterday, i also tried to launch them through Frosty Mod Manager as it seems to have solved this same issue for a few other players but it didn't change anything for me... i also checked my environment variables as it seems to be the issue for some others...my region settings for the use ot UTF-8 for language support... i also tried to change the port of my screen to use Display Port instead of HDMI (maybe it is a stupid idea but at this point, i'm trying a lot of things even if it doesn't make sense...): i also copied one of these 2 games on my C: drive as it is a SDD drive (all my games are on my D: drive which is an HDD drive) because i had an issue with an Epic game which was solved by moving the game from the a HDD drive to a SDD drive... but whatever i do, it doesn't solve the issue...

@holger1405 : i'm thinking to semthing else: do you know if there is some debug commands that could be set in the advanced launch options of these games (through the Properties option of the games in the EA app) in order to be able to have an error message ?
- holger14054 months agoHero+
I doubt that it would work, it seems the games are just not starting.- Go to your "C:\Users\<Your User Name>\Documents\Bioware" folder.
- Move the "Mass Effect Andromeda" and the "Dragon Age inquisition" folders to your Decktop.
- Test.
If that also don't helps:
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- In the new Window, type or copy and paste "%LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps" (Without the quotation marks) > Press ENTER
- Look if there are any "MassEffect Andromeda.exe.Xxxx.dmp" or "Dragon Age Inquisition.exeXxxx.dmp" files in the "..Local\CrashDumps" folder.
- If there are, Zip 2 - 3 "MassEffect Andromeda.exe.Xxxx.dmp" or "Dragon Age Inquisition.exeXxxx.dmp" files together and upload them at a free file hosting service like Dropbox or Onedrive.
- Post the link here.
- HaveFun19754 months agoRising Rookie
@holger1405 i don't have any "Bioware" folder in this folder: my bioware folder is on my OneDrive directory: i moved the folders of theese 2 games on my deskstop and tested them again and same issue: launching these games has also re-created a folder for each of these games on my OneDrive directory with only one sub folder (for the Saves).
And there is CrashDumps file for these 2 games...
Thanks,
- holger14054 months agoHero+
That's normal if you use OneDrive, the standard user profile folder "Documents" is moved into the Onedrive folder and the game uses whatever is flanged as the standard user profile folder by the OS.
HaveFun1975 wrote:

You mean there aren't any CrashDumps for the games?
If so please create a new DxDiag.
- HaveFun19754 months agoRising Rookie
@holger1405 : yes, sorry, my bad: i forgot the word "no": there is no CrashDumps file for these 2 games...
Here is the new DxDiag file: there is still no error regarding to these 2 games...
- holger14054 months agoHero+
But a lot of "LiveKernelEvent" errors that are new.
This may be a hardware error.
Please look at the "C:\WINDOWS\LiveKernelReports" folder, there should be "WATCHDOGxxx" folders and in these folders there should be "WATCHDOGxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxx.dmp" filesUpload one of this DMP files at a free file hosting service like Dropbox or Onedrive and PM me the link.
- HaveFun19754 months agoRising Rookie
@holger1405 : i think that they are related to a new game i installed last week end and for which i had several crashes due to memory issues but i was able to figure it out it and to solve it.. so the last Watchdog file generated on my computer is from the 9 september (and makes 18 GO: do you still want me to upload it and send you a link to it ?.

@holger1405 : the game crashed with a message related to allocation memory (i don't remember exacly the message but it was something like "ran out of memory trying to allocate video resource"🙂: so i allocated virtual memory to my D drive (which is my drive for video games) and forced the use of DirectX11 instead of 12 (i did these steps as it was the common solutions for this game).
And just in case, i tried to run Andromeda and Inquisition after the memory allocation on the D drive but it didn't change anything.
Here is the link for the dmp file (please confirm me when i can delete it as i will delete it as it is a big file):

I have downloaded it, but I will not have time to look at it tonight though.
I will be back with you tomorrow. - HaveFun19754 months agoRising Rookie
@holger1405 : no problem, it's not urgent: i have this problem since several monhs so take your time.. 🙂 (and i really appreciate the fact that you try to help me !)
- holger14054 months agoHero+
The dump itself is corrupted, this could indicate bad memory (hardware failure or XMP overclocking unstable) or a bad driver on your system.
It would explain the Memory Leak warnings as well as some other errors in your DxDiag.
If you have a XMP profile enabled I would disable it and test.
You can also test your RAM with MemTest86+. - HaveFun19754 months agoRising Rookie
@holger1405 : i didn't know what was a XMP profile unil i checked on Internet:i checked and i have one by default but it is deactivated.
For the test RAM, it did it but only for 4 pass as it took almost 8 Hours for these 4 pass...(i have 96 RAM of memory) and i need my computer so i could not wait for 8 additional hours to have (or more) to have the 4 last pass.. :-) But no error found for these 4 pass...
Also, just in case it rings a bell to you, i had issues with 2 other games (many crashes) that happened only when the Performance Core Ratio (in the Intel Extreme Tuning Utilitly) was to 55x (which was the default value) and that were solved as soon as i changed this value to 54x. (and come back it it reset to 55x).
- holger14054 months agoHero+
You might have a faulty CPU here, but that is just a guess.
Some 13th and 14th Gen Intel CPUs have degeneration and stability problems due to increased operating voltages on standard mainboard settings. If you did not updated your BIOS recently, you should make sure that you have the newest version (Look for Mirrocode 0x129 update)
If that doesn't help, I would look for a PC shop in your area. I am afraid we have exhausted all the troubleshooting that is possible via the internet. - HaveFun19754 months agoRising Rookie
@holger1405 : if i use to do software updates regularly, i never did a BIOS update.. so i have followed your suggestion and did the update (the BIOS date was as of 2023 july): it didn't change anything for the 2 problematic games...
Just for fun, I will try to come back to the 55x performance core ratio and see if the 2 other games crash again. And for the PC shop suggestion. i will see how it's going on for the future new games: i have a lot of games (recent and old) whick work fine/without any issue. If the problem becomes more common with other games, i will follow this suggestion.
Finally: i just want to thank you again for ALL your time, help and patience: even if the problem is not solved, i have really appreciated your help ! Knowing that you are not an EA employee and you are not paid for this help, it's more awesome ! 🙂
Best wishes and thank again ! 🙂
- holger14053 months agoHero+
The BIOS update was more to ensure that your CPU is not degenerating (more?).
I hope you get it sorted.
