update created two new problem s

Hi,

1. After Up dating MELE the camara is spinning in ME 1 2.  Xbox One controller wont work.

.Also why Is Mass Effect Ledgendary Edition not avalible in the EA ( Xbox One app) but it is avalible in the desktop app of EA ?

    Hey @TheAnarchyPrince,

    Do you have any other peripherals plugged in at all, or just the controller? Can you try unplugging anything else that may be attached to see if that makes a difference?

    As far as the Xbox One app, were you referring to the EA Play app? As far as the subscription goes, currently the Legendary Edition is only available with EA Play Pro, which is PC only. Certain levels of the Xbox Game Pass subscription include EA Play, but not EA Play Pro.

    If you're seeing something different in the app let me know and I'll try to clarify further!

  • @EA_Mako EA_Mako I have the same controller issue, playing in ME3 now. Followed instructions to disconnect other peripherals too. 

    The controller won’t allow me to sprint (using A) or run and jump, or climb over cover.. but it does trigger getting cover and opening doors and other functions with A button. So it seems like it has something to do with using the left stick + using A button at the same time. I don’t know if it’s the Left stick or the A button or both of them that’s the problem. 

    I did some experimenting and switching the sticks orientation to southpaw made it work: so I could use Right stick + A to  sprint, run and jump, climb over cover and do everything normally... except I obviously can’t play the whole game in southpaw orientation! 

    this game is unplayable for me until this is fixed so I would really appreciate EA to release a hot fix for this bug.

    Are you playing on Xbox or just using an Xbox controller on PC?
  • @EA_Mako  I am playing on PC with an Xbox controller . Issue started ever since June 7 update, but that also happened to coincide with me starting ME3 after finishing ME2 before update. I haven’t tried ME2 to isolate the issue to ME3, but I reckon it was the update that’s the problem.

  • I’m having issues since the update as well. It having the mass effect 2 reinstall I guess, but it’s stuck at 81%. The console says everything is installed. I can’t do anything on my Xbox one now. Any help would be appreciated. I’ve tried reaching out for help but no one has responded. Thank you!!

  • @EA_Mako  I have investigated and determined the problem is partly mine, but also partly ME3 (as opposed to ME1 and 2). 

    My controller may not be perfect, so my left analogue stick’s range when pointed up is ever so slightly limited compared to other directions. Think of it as the opposite of a deadzone, this is the maximum reach and sensitivity of the stick towards the outer edges. I noticed this when I found I could sprint (left stick + holding A button) while turning left or right (diagonal directions) but not when just sprinting forward in a straight line. I used software to measure my controller and verified. 

    however, this is not a problem in ME1 and ME2 because the threshold it has to register things like sprinting seems to be lower than ME3. I.e. there is a minimum amount that your left stick has to be pointed up before pressing A button will initiate sprinting- point a little up and shepard will just walk forward, but point all the way up and it will start sprinting. So the problem is my left stick seems to reach far enough to satisfy the threshold for ME1 and 2, but not far enough in ME3. So EA could potentially re-consider those zones and thresholds for ME3, to bring it down to ME1 and ME2’s levels. 

  • Hi, so nope nothing else pkuged in. Ive tryed deletibg the EA play desktop app and reinstalled it problwm is still there. IVE INSTALLED Ea Play on a other pc problem is still there, it luke it linked to my ea account somehow because there is no reason for it to bug on the seconds laptop . Ive also tryed customers service on live chat and phone wurst 3xperiance of my life. They get offwnded out of nothing will close chat and hang up on you for no reason. Ask fir a refund debied pass the dealine , try to explane that everything was going fine prior the update they resquested me to do. Now im stuck with a one year subscription that vost me 129$ thx you EA Play that will teach me to ignor all the red flags ive read only regarding overall you.
