Upgraded to digital deluxe...now won't connect to servers.

Today I finally decided to upgrade to the N7 Digital Deluxe Edition for PC, went through the purchase and download no problem.

Once downloaded, I noticed that the mass effect 3 icon didn't change or anything, but looking through the origin files, the digital art book and comic was there.

So I decided to run the game to start playing again, but after the 'checking DLC' screen, it said that I could not connect to Mass Effect 3 servers (which also meant none of my DLC would verify). When I tried to reconnect, it said that I would need an online pass to access online features. I tried to reload the game several times, and restart origin, but it just continues to load up and say that I don't have an online pass, despite the fact that I do have one and have played over 300 hours of multiplayer on the account.

Does anyone know a fix to this besides uninstalling the game and reinstalling?

  • For account related issues you'll have to contact EA support. They can issue you a new online pass, your best bet is Twitter or live chat (chose United States as country if it is not set already). Make sure they issue you the "Online Pass (N7 Collector's Edition)" along with From Ashes, as this becomes de-authorized in the process as well.
