Virmire: Destroy Satellite Dish Glitch
I have encountered a glitch wherein I destroyed the satellite dish in Virmire but it did not complete the objective?
Please help, I really wanted to save kirrahe!!!

You can't destroy the dish, you have to disable the communications from console. Possible you need to have a tech with you or have tech skills.
Doesn't look like a bug here to me, the quest log acknowledges that you destroyed it and will remain active, as there is still more you can do to to help Kirrahe's squad.
