Look on a larger screen if you need to, I'm not talking about the lights on the Reaper's legs. Stars are visible all throughout the lower 3rd of the image, away from the legs (and where they're not even visible...)
I have multiple very large screens.
As said, if you want to test and are capable to come up with a video or screenshot that is clearly showing an issue, by all mean do it.
I will gladly admit that I was wrong. đ
But for now I move on from this thread.

And now I will always see the domes when I get to Menae. Thanks a lot @Psychotps
Warning: do not watch the video unless you are from BW and intend to place a transparency on the domes or remove them

- Psychotps4 years agoSeasoned Ace@sweetpoison0011 Lol. It's just with how curved the "Dome" is, it looks like a planet... and the reaper appears to be standing BEHIND it... For a reaper to be that big behind a "planet", it's ONE BIG REAPER.
Granted, it's a bug, but an interestingly appearing one... and absolutely noone got that. âšī¸ - sweetpoison00114 years agoSeasoned Ace
@PsychotpsCan't call it "bug" since it doesn't involve unpredicted response of routine or program. I't just a static 3d model - it doesn't sing nor dance.
Most likely it's a side effect for removing DOF so you could enjoy the view of the reaper.
What's with everyone searching for bugs and glitches like this is the ultimate goal in a game? - Psychotps4 years agoSeasoned Ace

I compared the video from @sweetpoison0011 with the original game and you are right, there is a clear difference.
So we have a graphical artefact of some sorts here.
I however don't know if Bioware sees it as serious enough to get it fixed.
- sweetpoison00114 years agoSeasoned Ace
@holger1405It isn't a eye scratching problem unless I stop and start looking for that.
- holger14054 years agoHero+
Yeah, I think Bioware might see it this way as well.
Wow, these things are all over the place. Once you know they're there, you can find them in every direction at the edges of the map.
We'll see if BioWare does anything about it. One consequence is that it obscures the turian frigate crash when it gets shot down. It just disappears behind one of the opaque bubbles, and then your squad mates run some dialogue talking about something you can't even see.
- sweetpoison00114 years agoSeasoned Ace@devSin That's why I said to not watch the video.
It's like a dripping tap in the middle of the night. Everything is fine until your wife wakes you up with "did you hear the dripping tap" and for next few hours that's the only thing you will hear.
Now I am cursed to see the domes which otherwise I wouldn't notice. - 4 years ago
Why was this thread resolved? Surely that means it's less likely to be noticed and passed on by the community managers (however likely it was to begin with).
- sweetpoison00114 years agoSeasoned Ace
@DocTheGamerI had my runs on the moon without any problem and never noticed until this thread where out of curiosity I study the screenshots. Still hard to call it "problem" though.

@sweetpoison0011
I did notice these while playing. It's still something I'd like to see fixed, regardless of whether or not I think it will be. Doesn't seem like a reason to resolve the thread.
Doesn't help that the title and first post don't clearly illustrate the issue. Perhaps a newer, shorter thread that just shows a clear demonstration of the issue should be posted. - 4 years ago
@sweetpoison0011 I didn't watch the video. I just saw the original shot and happened to be close enough to the moon mission to want to take a look for myself. And I once I identified one, it was easy to just look around and see that they're actually all over the level.
@DocTheGamer Who knows. You can always tag the mods if you think they haven't seen something. This is an unsolved issue, even if the original poster got frustrated trying to point it out to people.
- holger14054 years agoHero+
The thread is marked as solved because OP marked his own post as solution.
I see no reason to remove his solution, it was his decision to do so.I will however report the problem to the CMs.
Edit: Solution is removed.
These "zones" could represent the "swathes of the surface" that the wiki talks about, where an artificial atmosphere and gravity is maintained, and could therefore have been inserted intentionally. If so, it wasn't really done well. - 4 years ago
@holger1405 Honestly, they look like trigger locations (maybe some vfx trigger or bounding zones for the Reapers walking around?) or something that accidentally got marked as visible. I'd have to compare it to the original version to come up with a better guess, but that's unlikely to happen.
I don't think it's just a bad visual transfer of fog vfx or whatever, as they're actually inheriting the skybox. Super unlikely to be intentional (if it is, they achieved disastrous results for whatever it is they're trying to do).

Here's a couple images from the original ME3 to compare to
- 4 years ago
Turns out they're 2D props that bound the level (to make it look bigger than it is). They're just oval planes with a texture slapped on.
Obviously something they accidentally screwed up when they were updating the assets. Hopefully something that can be fixed without much effort ('cause that's probably the only way this ever gets fixed).
- holger14054 years agoHero+
I think it is unlikely that they are trigger locations, they are scattered about the entire map and the Reaper path is as fare as I can see not even near most of them.
In regards to the narrative, a moon with spots of artificial atmosphere and gravity it would make sense, but as said, I would find the result not trilling as well.
