What is the Problem With Saving?
It's possible quicksave was left out by accident, but I'm not sure especially given how far they go to limit our ability to save at different times.

No idea what they were thinking. What makes matters worse is when you're stuck in combat with nothing around you and you can't save at all, no matter what. Even entering combat again, killing everything, and leaving the area doesn't help.
They need to get rid of the auto save system (which is sporadic at best and completely unreliable most of the time) and give players back the ability to quick save with a button and manual save everywhere, no matter what mission you're on or what's going on.
