We haven't heard from EA in weeks. The latest patch was released on 06th April, almost 2 weeks ago, and there has been absolutely no official communication since. The last update made to the known issues bug list in the bug forum was made on 03rd April... again 2 weeks ago. There are still a massive amount of bugs remaining. Some especially bad since they prevent players from actually engaging in New Game Plus, others severely crippling several quests. So... when is the next patch coming? I paid 60 bucks for this game so I'm not in the mood to wait half a year to get it fixed only to be then milked for more money to get some half arsed DLCs. I would like a community manager to respond to this as this is unacceptable behaviour. Bioware delivers one patch and then basically does a submarine dive and is never heard from again. So what's cracking? Is someone working on it and what is the ETA?

I would love to know when the next patch comes, as there are so many things to be fixed. All the bugged quests that prevent people from playing and other things need to be fixed ASAP.But I can understand why they don't say a date right now.I guess they are working pretty hard to fix those bugs and glitches and have to figure out what to put in the next patch and what can wait. They also have to be sure that the patch does not produce more bugs/glitches as it fixes.The last patch created a lot of new bugs and fixes. A lot of people had more problems than before...So it seems right they want to be sure and then say "Hey guys tomorrow there will be a new patch" instead of promising some patch and then see it won't work out to that date.But you are right about the communication however. Right there with you dude, I got the bug on Eos that stopped me from being able to complete the creation of Fapdromus. I won't be touching this Phoque of a thing again until they start REALLY putting effort into fixing it. They did say 2 months though....so MAYBE 6 more weeks. Idfk, but this game is going to be dead as hell by then.

I do think that, regardless some thickness which seemed to shield the brains of a couple of unfortunate developers, they didn't anticipate the sheer volume of feedback, bugs and things that seemd not tested. Overall, it must be dawning right now, the weight of the responsibility of this undertaking and they have 2 options: grow up and start working decently, really compromised, focus on quality, honing long-term healthy relationship with their customers. Or ignore common sense, go for pockets, imeediate cash grab, microtransations, fail and have one of the greatest sci-fi franchises die in their watch. I really wouldn't like that sort of background, specially tied to my professional career.

The next patch might coincide with the deluxe edition upgrade that should be available on the 20th. Who knows at this point though, they've never really been forthcoming about things. I don't know about you but I can't wait for more vague patch notes for single player.

EA and Bioware do not owe you anything. Those 60 Dollars means I am a customer and as such I can demand to know when the product I purchased is going to work as it is intended to. What's more you can't: take the game back and refund. If you are over the timelimit or date limit, you can't turn in a digital copy in the super market and demand your game back. Since all PC copies are digital copies, even if you bought them on amazon, there is no way you can return them and get a refund because once your code is spent it's spent. Get it? Maybe grow a brain before you come in here and throw your non-existant weight around kiddo. I get that there might some changes in the date but some throwaway line of "yeah about two months or so" simply isn't good enough. As for problems and the size of the game I can only refer once again to the CD Project Red Forums during the height of The Witcher 3. It was packed, threads and bug reports sprang up left and right, yet the community managers managed to update their buglist consisently, respond to new threads quickly and either closed them or merged them when issues had already been reported. They and the main community manager also updates the players consistently about ETA's of patches and were in constant communication with the forum and twitter. It's just not good enough. This game is 3 weeks old, already dropped out of Metacritics front page, was ripped by critics and players, was riddled with technical issues and bugs and still cost 60 bucks for the standard version which is a bad joke. Now they can't even communicate and you have some developer going online and saying "Oh it was so mean, I didn't expect that and bladibladibla". Apparently they have time for that and time to announce some new APEX missions but they can't decisively say: Okay we expect the Patch will release then and there. 2 months is also simply not an option. In 2 months this game will be absolutely gone from the gaming landscape at the rate it's now going. You need to fix at least smaller stuff NOW and in good time. I appreciate wanting to drop a major patch like a mic drop that, probably in their mind only, will lift the game up and make it as good as TW3 and Zelda, but it simply isn't feasible. At a certain point people will stop caring or get so pissed off that they simply won't bother with the game anymore. In general my point is: open your mouth and talk to us. Get community managers in here that merge threads so you don't have 50: shield for Nomad can't be crafted threads. Update the Bug List, maybe even make a stick post for several of the bugs that have been reported 500 or more times each, talk to the people, tell them what the patch will actually adress (cause they can say 2 months all they want, if the patch adresses stuff that nobody cared about or none of the stuff that was reported most then people will flip even more). Have an actual date ready so people don't feel like they have been * out of money. While they are at it... how about giving us a proper forum back? Why did they close the Bioware forum in the first place and why is this forum software so awful? I mean hell it feels like they want us to stfu and forget about the game just looking at how poorly this forum is managed and how poorly the whole thing works.

Right there with you dude, I got the bug on Eos that stopped me from being able to complete the creation of Fapdromus. But I can understand why they don't say a date right now.
I guess they are working pretty hard to fix those bugs and glitches and have to figure out what to put in the next patch and what can wait. They also have to be sure that the patch does not produce more bugs/glitches as it fixes.

Let's not forget the Character Creator. THAT was something they mentioned improving....or rather unfucking. SOmethings though...like I literally just can't believe half of these things made it to release. I guess EA just wants to die as a company and stab all it's supporters in the back like Konami did. WHich is fine...just don't expect anything to sell ever.

As far as the patch messing things up, it did. I've seen so many things about what it did to the multiplayer...and one odd instance where a friend had his Ryder turn into a Dwarf (fell halfway into the floor of the Nexus upon arrival) and hasn't recovered yet.

The CC is really odd and lame...

You can't change the shape of your eyes or mouth...so you basically always have the same face. Sure you can adjust it a bit, but I will always use the same face for my Ryder ☹️
I guess it is so limited because of Alec Ryder adapting to your Ryders...but honestly: my Alec Ryder looks like a frog almost everytime. He has such huge eyes and a huge mouth no matter how my Ryder looks like and I don't know what to do about it, because I can't change the size of the eyes...

Need I remind you of the CC from DA2? It also some "tweaked" your mother, brother, and sister. However you still got far more options to work with...and DA2 was tish compared to the others. It's no excuse.

I didn't say it was an excuse, just a possible explanation why they limited it.

For me the changing appearance of Alec Ryder is a nice gimmick but I don't need it (especially because he has no big part in the game at all)

They said it would take two months, but whether that two months is from the end of April or not they didn't specify. It would of been nice of them to give us a fortnightly update on what they have prioritised, character creation for me is what I'm really wanting to know about. But maybe the bugs will take first place. It would be nice for a community manager to tell us, cause I'm keep my play through on hold.
