there are allot of augs you can buy or find but only a select few will fit. what i am wondering though is when i make my armor i have a large list of augs but as soon as i put in an aug and try going for the next of 4 slots there are no augs left when i had 20 to start with. this goes as far as i select one aug during development in the chest and i dont have any augs left for the head or legs or arms. but when i take the aug out i have the full list again

I honestly haven't seen this problem. I use Augs like more shields, or tech power up, etc... on the Melee weapons.
Armor can only use Augments that have a Gear ability on them (usually 2% to something like more shields or health).
You can buy Augmentations from the General dealer on the Nexus and some other locations.
My advice is to find the MOD slot augmentation (gives you more MODs you can place on your weapons). My primary weapon has 4 mod slots now!

I think there's a non-overlapping augmentation system there. Something similar to modding capabilities: you cannot have 2 things that increase your clip size. The same would apply to augment. Only it needed some clear classification for a start.
As for melee augmentation, I don't even remember ever seeing one or missing them. I seldom use melee attacks.

i dont really give a * about weapon modding since that usual just takes away power (even though on paper it has more power for example laser mod 500 extra damage on sniper does not even do halve the damage of the original in actual combat) all augs i was talking about have the gear option so there is no problem there since i wanted the setup of electric so that enemies that melee attack you get shocked on the chest with one for the shield one for stability and one for a bit extra power those do not overlap since they do not fall in the same category so it should work then i wanted one for bionics on the arms but when i select one for the chest i cant put in a second one or one on the legs head or arm. so there is something wrong with it since i did not have this problem in my first play though (now new game+) but on my melee weapon i have a mod slot added during development and i put in a shield mod when you kill an enemy you get 25% health back so the melee mods and augs are in the game
