@dreampro4ever I kinda appreciate your effort, but you lost me a bit when writing about SJWs and all that gibberish ... Don't let your mind be succumbed by those generalizations. You can't shove people, EA and Bioware included, into categories like that, especially when there are hundreds of individuals involved in a project.
Now this game features homosexual relationships and more female cast than usual, so what? I wouldn't even have noticed without this nonsense internet culture ...
The latter fact even makes sense, given that a higher number of women guarantees a faster reproduction rate at the colonies. A certain number of males just makes for better genetic diversity, so it doesn't all end up in incest lol.
Given the size of the game, Bioware had to use automated tools and generic stuff in one or the other way to accelerate the process. If it wasn't about deadlines, we might get perfectly polished games for 1-2 years longer development in return. Investors and steadily evolving platforms make that kinda hard to achieve.
The following is some kind of "underground" fact, but should give an impression that there never was any perfectly polished open world game on release. As some players and also I have tinkered around with the Skyrim Creation Kit, it was found that there is a ton of quests and dialogue not implemented into the game. I'm specifically talking about the civil war quest line. T. Howard, co-founder and lead creator of Bethesda, teased fans with large battles in some kind of RTS fashion. The war was supposed to be a huge thing. What they ended up with was a bunch of incomplete code and a mediocre quest line substitute. Bethesda even published Skyrim themselves and really do care about community feedback, as most developers (should) do. I'd include Bioware there, too. There's something wrong with the overall thing of producing video games, especially these huge ones. I can't exactly name it, tho ... always pointing at the publishers is kinda too easy.
Witcher 3 has bugs and flaws, too, like an unmotivating skill system, balance and copy paste faces all over the place. The latter issue instantly reminds me of ME:Andromeda.
The fact, that Bethesda will probably not come up with a new Elders Scrolls until at least 2018, could be an indicator that they might be on a good trail... or it's just because they work on several projects in the meantime. Just guessing. ^^
But back to Andromeda... I don't care about the animations much. Yes, it is not good for 2017 standards but whatever, this game focuses far more on atmospheric locations, less on NPCs, which is a good thing in my eyes, because the Mass Effect universe has massive open world potential. If that's not your beer, well, then that's it. ^^

@SirBarzalot Thanks for taking the time to read my comment and provide your opinion. Although I respect what you've shared I disagree, it's not gibberish especially when it influences a great portion of the games finally product. I never once "shoved" EA, Bioware, or anyone into a category. I clearly said "Mangament" made a poor decision in deciding to solely rely on cyberscan technology to create humanoid expression... From my understanding staff members personally came up to management and requested to work on humonid faces but was turned down! For what reason will truly never find out but reviewing comments and actually comparing what was shown to us st E3... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to put the pieces together. Just look at the cinematic trailer for E3 2016 and you'll notice how both Peebee and Sarah eyes and faces were more flushed out, bring the beauty of there respected models to life. Now keep in mind I could care less on esthetics or I wouldn't have played 150+ hours already and wouldn't have romanced Verta as my first choice in my first play through ( that strong female personality with them fine legs, lol! ) Story and personality will always come FIrst in my book. I shouldn't even have to share that information to give my opinion but it's like I need to defend position in order to express what is disturbing which is how they downgraded the facial implimations to appeal to SJW and not the Character or narrative development. Have you seen the male Ryder model and how the "likeliness" is spot on, so I ask why downgrade female Ryder? And you know what in the end it doesn't matter because you can customize it or does it because you're limited to options due to poor decisions. Will never know, they won't come out willingly to speak the truth. If management did come out and genuinely say it was just purely decided to save time then okay, still poor decision as it backed fired but at least there is no outside influence disturbing the creativity. No, instead information has to be leaked to the public sharing what's going behind the closed doors. People have the right to know, especially when you're paying for triple A game that is a highly beloved franchise for many which is why I asked the question who owns Mass Effect just like any other major game, art, movie or history... in the end it's always the people. The people will be the ones who keep it alive for years to come.
Now I'm not sure I understand why you brought to our attention that this game has homosexual relationships and more women, so what is exactly correct. Diversity has always been core concept since the beginning of Mass Effect 1, and is fantastic to have become as rich as it is now. I agree and is logical sound for there to be more females in this world especially if they wish to repopulate, heck there is a bit that is solely dedicated to that exact concept in game.
Your right there is no flawless game but that doesn't mean it can't come close... I really hate to compare but when you got power house games coming from both spectrums ( Horizon zero drawn and breath of the wild ) each unique in there own respect but yet similar in genre, then you understand even with flaws and bugs it still can be a masterpiece, not perfect which is the misconception, but yet a masterpiece. And you know what they all had in common... that they all started development or concept within 5-7 years.
I want to stress how much I love Mass Effect for if I didn't, I wouldn't be here! What I don't want is be here questioning what went wrong, because if I'm doing that who loves the franchises then Image how new comers feel. Remember it's the people who will end up taking ownership, the success of the franchise will be measured by our wallets and if it doesn't come out firing on all thrusters, then you better believe gamers will remember when it comes time for DLC and additional sequels.
