I guess this is not a serious question. But yes, I am the kind of person where the little things can bug me. Like I try to overlook my team not wearing equipment to protect them sometimes. Or running into people in hazard areas with no protection... or taking my helmet off in situations where that would have killed me (especially when it was that sort of thing that lead to me being Pathfinder in the first place). But everyone now and again, I just can't overlook it. Look at this pic. Notice how I am in a full suit with helmet and I am dying due to the radiation... meanwhile, Clancy here is in his skivvies and doing just fine. And I am no longer pairing Clancy up with anyone because they might have radiation babies.

A matter of late game survival in the spoiler, just a warning. Part of it is likely because I'm a terrible squad leader in the game but the other part of it is that they fight stupid. See how terrible I am? I put the bad things that happen on them and take credit for all the good. And even if the squad's immortal PandaTar... what about Clancy here? What's his deal? I was about to die in front of him and I have way more protection on than him. No it isn't, because I had this happen to me as well and I have that setting enabled. This problem exists because whoever scripted these scenes did so without respecting that setting, so some scenes have helmets disabled no matter what. It's bloody annoying. To give my 50 cents, I thought my team was immortal. I only had to revive someone when I played Insanity, or when a Destroyer simply had 5 minutes of interminent fire on Cora. They're that tough.

Do we have Clancy's background story? I believe he has a mutation "Immune to Radiation" somewhere in his files.

But ok, I concede: details make the game appealing, and that translates to all parts of it. :eahigh_file:

Haha I should have known. In that case he must be paired with others for the good of our species.

And for me... somehow... the game is still fun? But not during these moments.

Yes, and since we are speaking about the little details, how about...

At the end of the game when the vaults all come fully online and it shows little cut scenes where the planets are blooming. I had a couple of little missions to finish up and decided to check out the planets because of the cut scenes, and what do I find? Nothing different.

Erhm... with regards to your picture, you must actually have been experiencing a bug, there is zero radiation in that settlement thanks to the atmospheric pylons surrounding the place, so Clancy will be perfectly fine, you however might be in trouble as it would seem someone onboard the Tempest is trying to off you by sabotaging your suit's air supply 😃
