When importing the ME1 file unfortunately there is no "completion date" when in ME2, just what level you were which is fine I've effectively learned that it is the thing of "save 4" is the most recent etc.
When I go back into ME1 at the save I've made prior to beating Saren, go through the fight and let the credits roll until the end and then go into ME2 and import that save it still does as the video attached in that prior post does. It just "pretends" like it is saving.
If I make a "generic shepherd" aka one that doesn't use the import data from my ME1 save, it saves no problem however I really wanted to use my import data since that gives all the special choices and what not from the prior game meaning.
This also has me wondering I only recently got access back to the EA account linked to my Xbox, would that have been causing any issues? I feel like not really since days after the fact of getting access again, it still is having this issue. And I really do not think unlinking my EA account would fix it either lol
Community ManagerTenrier_kqn8nm1 I'll reach out to some folks, but no, it wouldn't because your account has nothing to do with the game not saving. The only thing off the top of my head that I can think of would be if it were somehow a save from a different account's game, which can only happen on PC. MELE didn't have an option to use other people's saves like the original PC versions.
And just to clarify, even if you play through all of that, at no point does it let you save? Even if you were to play through the first part and get off that ship?
Correct the first time I tried to play I got all the way to the Normandy and it did the same thing as the video attached. I made a Reddit post originally, and people said to try coming to the forms here.

To be safe as well I just tried again with the most recent ME1 save file for the import, got all the way to omega and tried to save there as well it didn't work either unfortunately.
Tried running through ME1 on a NG+ to see if importing that one would work, unfortunately it didn't work lol. Which is unfortunate
