Stick Drift: Possible bug/switch

The navigation control has a random stick drift. It only happens when playing MySims. I tried to calibrate my controls but they were fine. Played 2 other games and it worked fine the moment I loaded Mysims the stick drift returns (in a downward direction)

    Mine is doing the same thing but goes to the top left corner and if i try to move it just jumps back there. I am using my switch handheld with the controllers attached, but it also happens if i detach the controllers. If it is docked and using a wired controller i do not have the issue. If i exist the game to the menus it continues to happen in the menu. i found the workshop building and house building is what triggers the drifting.

    Heya celighty ,

    Thanks for flagging this one, could you elaborate on if this is happening in MySims, MySims: Kingdom, or both?

    Also, if you could provide any video of this occurring it would greatly assist us in our investigation!

      Hi! thanks for the response! It’s MySims and MySims: Kingdom so far. The sim just walks in a downward motion the whole time, and in the menu Navigation. I have video for both but it shows failed when attaching. When playing a different game I didn’t get the same issue. So it doesn’t seem to be a controller issue. (If there’s an email I can send the videos to I’ll be happy to send them there!)EA_Cade

    Thank you again for flagging this issue to us. 

    I've got this with the team now who have reviewed your footage and are assessing what the best next steps are in this situation. 

    One thing of note, in this specific scenario you appear to be using a 3rd party controller which wasn't function tested for MySims. If at all possible we recommend that you try with an official Switch controller until we fully investigate the issue.

      Thanks again for the reply! I don’t have access to an official controller at this time but I did get a chance to play the game for at least 2-3 hours before the issue started using that same controller if that helps! EA_Cade
