0 events on map

Just bought the game, after the fifht or so race, I can't see the events that are supposed to be on the map. If I go to the place, I can start the event, but I can't use the GPS or teleport there. When I click on 'show on map' it just goes there but there's no event. I reinstalled the game and started a new journey already. Any help?

You used the page up and page down keys to cycle through the display modes?  When you drive around do you see the event markers on the road?  Did you enter Multiplayer and think you are in Play mode?

yes! I cycled trought the display modes and whe I drive I see the events, but I can't see them on the map. I entered in ALLDRIVE mode, how do I go to play?
