11 Jan Update - NFS No Limits iOS crashes my iPAD

Version 1.2.2 (801Mb) NFS No limits downloads about half and crashes my iPAD.

Version 4.0.5 (628Mb) Real Racing 3 - attempting to update this app crashes my iPAD

Version 1.0.43 (649Mb) NFS Hot Pursuit - attempting to update this app crashes my iPAD (Jan 12 update)

and

Version 2.2.1 (1.2Gb) Asphalt 8: Airborne crashes my iPad on update.

(And don't flame me on this one, I know it's not an EA app)

All other apps have updated from before and after.  Have tried the standard turn it off and all, close all multitasks apps, hard reset (lock/home).  Still no joy.

iPAD type:

Mini (MD533ZP/A)

iOS 9.2

64Gb (10Gb free)

So interested in any thoughts to assist.  More interested in resolving NFS No Limits, not playing the other 3 frequently.

    So initially I had 2Gb free and decided that a bit of a clean up was in order.

    Interestingly NFS No limits has now updated.  So despite actually having enough space to update, it needed more.

    This is good to know, but a bit of an issue really.
