21x9 Resolution is poorly supported
I returned the game today due to poor support for 21x9 resolutions on PC. I had been looking forward to this game, but I was pretty frustrated when I saw that all of the natively filmed 21x9 cutscenes and garage customization is double letterboxed with black spaces on all four sides of the picture. It's hard for me to justify paying full price for a game that was supposed to be optimized for PC when it has glanced over an issue which really takes away from the experience and would be incredibly easy to fix.
It's especially frustrating because the game clearly was designed to support a wide range of resolutions, but this issue was over looked. Games like GRID and GRID 2 have flawlessly supported widescreen for years now, so hopefully NFS will follow suit and release an upddate. If in the future the game is discounted and the issue is fixed, I may look into purchasing. But for now I will wait.
Also, I realize that people with 21x9 monitors are in the minority right now, but it is a growing market, and i hope that developers realize that it is becoming prevalent and will do more in the future to make sure games are better supported.

the only blackbar occur for me is, on the cutscene, in mission intro, map and buying engine part. The rest is 21:9 even in garage. But it is very strange to see a cutscene with cinescope ratio(21:9) scale to 16:9 in a 21:9 monitor.
ADMIN EDIT: this has been forwarded for investigation.
