blackridge rivals
is anyone else having trouble with these races? i seem to have lost just as many as ive won and more often than not if you "just" win a race you gain less points than you lose if you "just" lose a ra...

@TheRealJony I can't remember the track name 'cause I've only raced it once and I was too focused on winning cause I needed the SP! Lol! Whenever I race anyone that's in the top 5 I get a long track packed full of traffic...first time I tried to drift and I was done before I even got started!
@scottfollett Alright, I know the race name, track name, and everything.
It's Bypass Run: Track is Blackridge Channel and it's during the night.
I definitely have a screenshot to prove I can do a WAY better time than that, but my iPod Touch is screwing with me at the moment as I'm unable to import any images to my PC. -.-

Seems more like a survival race than a speed trial actually...are all your races of this length now? 99% of mine are completed in under 25s unless they are the same as the ones I mentioned above...
I get races that last around 20 seconds and I get races that last around 30 seconds.
However, I'm sitting at the sidelines and drinking my cup of tea now. I'm unable to regain any SP lost if I lose a race in Blackridge Rivals.

I noticed, and raced, some of those wannabe's yesterday and I was rotted to say the least...even though I only lost to one of them!
I hope those leaderboard wannabes or Icon wannabes get banned ASAP.
They're all such a nuisance.

@TheRealJony imagine how brutal it'd be if you didn't get any ai in the first place back then, everyone one would have kept hovering netween 4.5k-4.7k, and in that case being in top 15 or top 10 would be the ideal goal, since thefirst person is just a function of consistency at the right time before the event ends.
@jin1995x I can imagine it must be brutal to gain SP if you only got to race real player ghost opponents with a much lower SP score than you. And winning those races could award you with 1 SP each race (maybe even 0 SP).
I commend you, TudorSicaru, and anyone else except leaderboard wannabes or Icon wannabes that reached Icon rank I even though the game didn't give AI ghost opponents to race with.
Now I feel like I have to defend myself a little here.
It's not my fault the game gives me AI ghost opponents to race.
All I've been doing is the same as everyone else. And that is clicking "Race" to race in Blackridge Rivals.
Now the difference is the game (Yea, the game) gives me an AI ghost opponent while the game gives everyone else a real player ghost opponent. Also, add to the fact that nobody can choose the opponents we want to race in Blackridge Rivals.
Since the game gave me an AI ghost opponent, it's beyond my power to do anything about it. I couldn't avoid getting an AI ghost opponent.
If I chose to retire from racing the AI ghost opponent, I'll have my SP score deducted.
If I chose to force close the game and launch the game again, I'll have my SP score deducted AND I'll still have the same AI ghost opponent to race for the second time.
If the game gives me an AI ghost opponent, then the game gives me an AI ghost opponent. There's nothing I can do about it.
We now know that AI ghost opponents weren't intended to be in Blackridge Rivals. However, it would be wrong to punish me for playing the game how it's supposed to be played.
All I did was click "Race" to start a Blackridge Rivals race and I got an AI ghost opponent instead of a typical real player ghost opponent.
It would be the game's fault for giving me an AI ghost opponent.
The devs removed AI ghost opponents from Blackridge Rivals, but they kept me at #1 as the damage was already done. It's too late to change anything about it.
If I get banned by just playing the game how it's supposed to be played, then I would just leave everything about No Limits in my rear-view mirror and move on with my life.
