@richieluv76 great explanation, +1. But You you missed the most important question: How does the game decide who I race against? When I am close to reaching the next rank the game starts matching me against "good races" of -150 SP players repeatedly until I make a mistake.
@7ru3blu3 That we would not know precisely, trust me, too many p&c's possible for it, I am given 300 sp lower opponents get 2points, but they race really good, so i think when you at the top you mostly get the best times of the lower sp people, if you. Constantly keep playing with one race where your opponent messes up big time every 8 or 10races. If you fall down you are given average times, with one or two bonus races with high ranked peoples average runs? We can never know this for sure how to algo works.
