The VIP level players that have a maximum limit of 6 or more Rivals tickets could happen in the next update when Tournaments are removed.

People paid real money to have a maximum limit of 6 or more Tournament tickets. Tournaments are going to be removed in the next update.

So where will the maximum limit of 6 or more Tournament tickets that people paid for go to?

There's two options:

1. Since Blackridge Rivals will be the new "Tournaments", the maximum limit of Tournament tickets will be transferred to the maximum limit of Rivals tickets.

2. The maximum limit of Tournament tickets disappears along with Tournaments.

The transfer of maximum limit of Tournament tickets is more likely to happen than the removal of it.

Since people paid real money for the maximum limit of Tournament tickets, people would RAGE if things they paid for gets removed from the game permanently.

For something to be called pay2win, that something gives benefits to paying players that free players can't get their hands on.

Currently, all players (both free players and paid players) get a maximum of 5 Rivals tickets for each refill. Not pay2win.

Now if VIP players do get a maximum limit of 6-10 Rivals tickets for each refill, then it would be pay2win as it's impossible to get those maximum limits of Rivals tickets without spending real money.

Do not take driving skills as a factor. Both the free player and VIP player have the same driving skills.

If the free player chooses to refill, they get 5 Rivals tickets.

If the VIP player chooses to refill, they get 6-10 Rivals tickets. With 1-5 Rivals tickets more than the free player, the VIP player could potentially score huge SP from winning against big SP opponents with those extra Rivals tickets and creating a big gap of SP from the free player.

There's nothing wrong with pay2progressfaster, but there's a whole lot of wrong with pay2win.

NFS World was heavily pay2win.

The best cars in that game costed real money. It was impossible for free players to get their hands on the best cars.

Like all pay2win games, it died.

I don't have any vendetta with paid players. In fact, I want to thank paying players for spending real money in No Limits.

If it weren't for you paying lot, then No Limits would cease to exist and I wouldn't be able to play No Limits for free.

@TheRealJony why couldnt you just say "yes its only speculation and yes it wont affect me as i'm not a vip player" and leave it at that, why do you feel the need to beat me down? or are you just attacking me because i attacked your hero status in another thread? grow up and move on

now lets just throw something else into the mix, what about all those people with "jailbroken" devices that could just keep refilling their tickets?

the only part of yout argument i actually agree with is vip players have an advantage when using ticket refills, i dont fully agree with the sleep issue because a "no life" gamer could wake up after 5 hours, because tickets take 1 hour to generate if a player really wanted to they could play every single ticket that gets generated, but i'm sure you're like me, work and life in general tends to get in the way of things

but that being said, because there is a mechanism in game to gain gold i dont completely agree with the ticket refill issue either because a free player can still get ticket refills, admittedly in the long run it would cost them more gold for the same end result, i personally choose not to use ticket refills, i'd rather save my gold for when special events roll around

but ultimately its only a game, just because somebody gets top of the leaderboard what does that really prove?

Hi Team... well, I finally cracked it thanks to your advice....  Icon 4501 SP currently sitting in 108th position on the leader-board! Whoohooo

That said, I do think it was more a case of good luck, than good racing.

I woke up this morning and decided today was the day I was going to claim that gold icon, whatever it takes... and boy did it take a lot!

I started the day on about 4448 PR thinking I'd be past 4500 before I'd finished my first cuppa coffee. Wishful thinking! My first 5 races were a disaster, with the second race almost driving me to delete NFS-NL permanently, when my 1053 PR CCX was smoked by a LAMBO in what couldn't have been a more perfect run on my part. WTF?!? (could only have been a cheater, which is extremely annoying)

Anyway, I let off some steam in a symphony of expletives and got back to business, only to get thumped in the next few races and plummeted back down to a humble 4320. But, I stuck to my 'whatever it takes' guns and burnt through all my remaining gold (about 400) to sneak back past the 4400 mark again by midday. After a long break of hourly refills I finally started enjoying a bit more 'luck of the draw' along with a consistent string of races without making too many mistakes. By 11:30pm, it was mission accomplished.

However, the brief sense of personal 'victory' was quickly overshadowed by the foreboding feeling that my new 'Icon' status was more of a lucky 'slot machine' spin, than a well deserved win (if you get my meaning). Yes, a measure of skill is required to 'be in the game' but I strongly suspect this accounts for less than 50% of your actual progress and the bulk of progress is actually determined by how lucky you are with which opponents you draw in which events.

If we at least had the ability to choose which opponents we raced against (based upon SP ratings), a measure of strategy would be introduced to BRR. E.g. Choose an opponent with a lower SP, giving you a better chance of winning a few points and progressing slowly, coupled with the higher cost of losing against this opponent if you make a mistake, verses selecting an opponent with a higher SP, giving you the chance to progress faster if you win while losing fewer SP if you lose, although the risk of losing is much higher... so it's a trade-off decision we would each make as players, as opposed to having this decision made for us by the game.

I certainly look forward to seeing how BRR evolves after pre-season. Could be epic, could be a disaster. Time will tell.

@scottfollett the CCX maxes out at 1053 PR. It's quick but apparently not quicker than some of the sub 1000 CCX's in the Clash of Titans Tourney?!? Had a few of these swish past me in a straight line at Max Nitro. 🤔

@WildeKnight07 @scottfollett i'm not saying you guys are wrong but found this over on the reddit forum showing the ccx maxing out at 1161 and the ferrari at 1134, i pretty sure its fake though as the ferrari is still shown my garage as the last car and i believe the cars are ordered by their maximum pr, perhaps a leak of the impending update?

@jin1995x cheers, that makes sense, i have this nasty gut feeling that this next update is going to upset quite a few players, hope i'm wrong though
