Bring Back Need for Speed Carbon — Official Remake/Remaster
To Electronic Arts and the Need for Speed team:
Need for Speed Carbon was released in 2006 and became one of the most memorable entries in the Need for Speed franchise.
Almost twenty years later, many players around the world still remember Palmont City, the Canyon Duels, the crews, the territory battles, the customization system, the soundtrack, the characters and the atmosphere that made Carbon unique.
We are asking Electronic Arts to consider bringing Need for Speed Carbon back through an official remake or remaster for modern platforms.
We don't want Carbon to lose its identity.
We want the heart of the original game to remain intact while taking advantage of modern technology.
What we would love to see:
🏙️ Palmont City rebuilt for modern hardware
🏔️ Canyon races and Canyon Duels recreated with modern graphics and physics
🚘 The iconic vehicles from the original game
🎨 The Autosculpt customization system preserved and expanded
👥 The crew system and territory battles
🏁 The original career structure and progression
👑 The original characters, rival crews and bosses
🎬 The story and cinematic presentation that made Carbon memorable
🎵 The atmosphere and musical identity of the original game, subject to licensing
🎮 Modern controller support
🖥️ 4K resolution and modern PC support
🌐 Modern multiplayer features
And most importantly:
Keep Carbon feeling like Carbon.
We understand that creating a modern game involves many technical, creative and licensing challenges. This petition is not intended to dictate how Electronic Arts should develop the game.
It is simply a message from the community:
There are still players who want to return to Palmont City.
We would gladly support an official modern release of Need for Speed Carbon.
If Electronic Arts ever considers bringing one of its classic Need for Speed titles back, we hope the voice of the Carbon community will be heard.
Bring back Palmont City.
Bring back the Canyon.
Bring back the crews.
Bring back Need for Speed Carbon.
