Camera and map controls bug NFS Heat PC

Playing with an X-Box Elite controller and whenever i am not providing any control input the camera snaps to a side view of my car, sitting at roughly 8 o'clock in relation to the car. This is very very annoying in a race as it will happen the very second i let off R2 and i am not yet turning the car. Slightly moving right stick to the left puts the camera at the rear angle but i have to hold it there or it snaps back. Similar experience on the map, i use R2 to zoom out on the map and the second i release it the map zooms back in again. At first i thought this was just my controller, so i unplugged it and plugged it back in, same issue. Restarted my computer, same issue. Tried it in a different game, no issue, so this has to be a game issue. So i asked a buddy of mine playing on x-box and he is having the exact same issue. He is further in the game than I and telling me that it is also effecting the sizing of rims. This is a serious game breaking bug and it needs to be fixed
