I am also having the same problem. I started up need for speed after a few days and this is what I'm stuck with. I have closed the application and restarted the game hoping it may reset but nothing. I finished all the off road races, beat Aki Kimura and I stole both gold plated cars.. But it's reset and I'm stuck having to do it again and I've lost my M4 which was done up. The only proof I have to show is my trophy achievements and a snapshot of the M4
