Electronic Arts is the reason why the series got * up, in my opinion its best to sell the name to an other company, there are more talented devs out there.
@selticus1978 I doubt it will happen.NFS is one of the biggest series under EA's control,so they wont let go of a chance to keep profit from long-term players worldwide.Only possibility is NFS been killed off after continous failures without a replacement team.
