Need for speed 2012 PC and Steam Deck

I can't launch NFS 2012 on PC, after the loading screen it just automatically closes with "Failed to Launch error" on EA app. Disables all startup apps(MSI afterburner, Rivatuner, CCleaner etc.) nothing works.

On Steam Deck, the game automatically closes after the game tries to connect to origin (after the Press any Key screen) I think have the same issue on PC.

Just found the solution. It turns out if you have more than 100+ friends, it won't start, tried to remove friends retained 60 of them, now it launch both on PC and Steam Deck. But thanks for the suggestion anyway :)

Hello Croaxxy,

Reinstalling the game on your PC should fix any possible issue.

I can't believe this actually helped. I had like 130 friends, many of which were inactive. I reduced them to 80 and boom. It worked...
I've been banging my head for months... Thank you!

PS: This also helps with NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 (the original, not the remaster). I guess it's because the games are on the same engine.
