Can you change the difficulty level?

I was wondering if you can change the difficulty level for Need for Speed (PS4)?

If following the same game rules as NFS for PC, the answer is No. The game/races progressively get harder and more difficult.

In Multiplayer, not sure, Don't play it that much because of the unbalanced car issue.
