Hi Slynexes, I agree with you that the modifications in 2015 were much better than in Payback. With that said, I find both systems are working well and I am able to tweak my vehicles enough to be able to get through the missions. Some of the missions are harder than others. I expect that in a game. I don't want to just walk through a game.
Maybe in the next installment of NFS, they will bring back the customization that many of us liked in 2015.
I'm not saying that I can't get my cars upgraded enough to be able to win the races.
What i am saying is that I can't customise my cars in the way that I want to because of the RNG that is related with this speed card system.
As an example.
I love my evo IX a lot for all of the offroad races.
But i like it the best with 3 speed card from Carbon and 3 from Nextech because this gives the car the best feel for my playstyle.
With the current system it is really hard to keep this ( for me optimal) setup because it's really difficult to get those cards.
And that is why i would like to see some changes in the current system.
