Changing the resolution to 680x400 or 800x600

Guys Help! So i bought this game when it was on sale. But i dont have a good pc. So i can only play the game at 17 fps. So i need help from you guys on how can i chance the res to 680x400, or 800x600 because im sure i can get atleast 30fps from that. For the time beeing that i get my better pc id love to grind some money so when i get the pc i can speed through the story.

1024x768 is the minimum resolution available, hopefully that will be low enough for the game to be playable for you.

yeah but on that res i have 17fps. I know its possible to go lower with commands. Because ive seen it on youtube. So it whould be awesome if you told me
