Controller problem

You could try programs like xbox360CE which will allow you yo use a regular controller to emulate an xbox controller.

there is another program you could try caled pinnacle game profiler, you can use that make your controller send keyboard keys see if this works for you

good news I just tested pinncale game profiler with a generic controller and it works!!

whenever i download your preset, it doesnt come with any actual configs, so it doesnt run

I figured this out by luck but I'm glad to say that this is the fix. If your controller works with X360ce all you need to do is find the right XInput Files to select. For me 64-bit v1.4 did the trick!

Look at my screenshot. 32/64-bit depends on the X360ce application.

Controllers also work if u run as a non-steam game (controllers settings turned on)
