So far i like the game, it runs pretty smooth on my rig, but my only issue is the soundtrack. I'm not a big fan of Hip Hop or EDM and it appears that's all there is here. Is there any way to add my own music without using an outside app?

I MUTE THE MUSIC. i play my own music. this game needs "DRUM N BASS, TECHNO, MINIMAL, basically racing music. like Midnight CLub 1-3... why they cant figure that out? i always mute the music... i already knew.. lol
I'm really enjoying the game so far, but the soundtrack is terrible in my opinion, its the absolute opposite of my tastes as its not even really hip hop, its all that "trap" stuff which puts me off. I would just like to avoid having a third party application running in the background just for music as sometimes I actually want to listen to what they are saying, in-game music could have the audio ducked for those parts which you arent getting running a media player behind it. I havent played a a great deal of the game so far but its the one glaring weakness I've found so far, tohugh it could potentially be easily fixed.
I really hate the music i turn the volume down completly.

Why not let us chose "radio station" with different type of music like in so many other game.
I know Just Cause 4 do it, GTA 5 do it , FF15 do it, and many other game too.
The bad thing is it seems like every publisher is going that direction with the exception of the titles you listed. I got tired of the sports titles for that same reason until I found out that in Madden you have the option of turning off all licensed music and just have the score playing. I wish they could update heat to at least add some tracks to the game folder.
Is there any way i can change this terrible soundtrack off and play my own music..Spotify, Apple Music ect...

I find the music in this game is extremely lacking and the fact that you cant choose what songs you want to play in different situations is a bit irritating. There honestly are only 2 songs that i enjoy in this game. I think it would be cool if we could link for example a googleplaymusic account to play our playlists in the game and integrate to the games UI and such.
