Depth Of Field (PS4)

Hi. I was wondering of anyone knows what’s going on with the “DEPTH OF FIELD” option. I can’t see any visible differences between when it’s on and when it’s off. The only thing I noticed is that when it’s off, the depth of field doesn’t work in photo mode.

Is this option broken, or am I missing something?
