devils run special event
fyi, just finsihed day 1 of the devils run special event and there's no replay events for farming parts/cash, lets hope the event is designed so it can be finished without spending gold.................

on the topic of spending gold to complete the event, i was thinking rather than buying bps at 450 each, how about buying epic parts at 400 each once you're at 4 stars? thoughts?
@richieluv76 My recommendation would be to buy Lamborghini Diablo SV blueprints than to buy Epic performance parts, just as scottfollett had said.
But in the end, it's up to you. 😉

There will def be replay events...
@scottfollett Don't be too sure.

they will probably be events that don't involve moving up in the standings...
And those would be Time Trials and Nitro Rushes when you're supposed to be "making up for lost time". However, you're doing what it says which is to "make up for lost time". You're not supposed to sit around, drink a cup of tea, and treat those as Sunday drives. You're in a rush to finish Devil's Run in 1st place.
Have you played Need For Speed The Run before?
Devil's Run is exactly like Need For Speed The Run, but with less intensity.
@TheRealJony @scottfollett i appreciate your input and i think on the whole i agree with both of you, but here's my thoughts behind it,
1/ if previous events are anything to go by, to max out the car will require buying 8 * bp packs from the event store which works out to 3600 gold
2/ in previous events to have any chance of completing the event you have to farm replay events like a mad man to earn enough credits/parts to increase the pr enough to reach the end, but this event appeas to not have replay events
3/ now lets assume that firemonkeys are going to screw us on this event, i believe that there will come a point where parts/materials/bps will need to be purchased from the event store
4/ if your primary concern is completing the event and can live with having to wait for the extra bps then 6 * epic parts is only 2400 gold and will give a massive pr increase (hopefully enough to complete the event) and still allow room for installing any materials earned throughout the event
dont get me wrong, i'd rather not have to spend gold to complete the event, i'm just thinking which would be the "best investment"

@richieluv76 I found this.

Remember that it's NOT 100% guaranteed.
Also, you can do what you guys normally do: Purposely fail the last event of each chapter (in case of no races that can be replayed) and grind Event Credits. lol XD

Now I won't let my Lamborghini Diablo SV get away from me. I gotten every single special event car in No Limits and this is no exception. 😉
I don't have enough Gold to buy any Lamborghini Diablo SV blueprints at the moment, so no Gold has been spent for now. (I'll only be able to buy 5 Lamborghini Diablo SV blueprints during the special event)

I think you've already made up your mind on what you're going to do.
It's up to you on how you spent your Gold. People can suggest and recommend on what you should spent Gold on, but you make the final call.
so far im up to day 5 and nothing has been to difficult besides my own mess ups its been pretty fun and easy!
also id just like to add! if you're currently at day 5 and have bought 5x BP for the diablo! you should be at the last stage to get 40x BP to stage up!
now assuming day 6 & 7 reward you with 20x BP. you will get the car maxed out!
tho im going to be pretty pissed if ive wasted 400 odd gold on 5 BP that i never even needed to buy! cause if its going to be 25x BP in day 6 then yeah! rage mode activate.
I find it interesting that a consistent pattern of the wheels being the weakest of all parts is found across almost all players I saw.....🤔
totally agree with you on that. it seems that every event now lacks ways in obtaining tires and considering its a common resource needed to progress part ranks! its quite a downer to upgrade
especially considering its bundled with other stuff thats so easily obtained that you dont want that party anymore!
i mean ive maxed my turbo and gearbox all ready for rare atm just waiting on couple uncommon parts to get to epic! but dam it keeps giving me shafts etc
Why do we always have to spend tons of gold in these events??? Do you really have to milk us like cash cows? I know you guys give don't give a damn on your customers but I'd highly apreciate not to have to spend so much money on this game.
@NFS_Sandro It is the same for all special events. No matter what you try, you are not allowed to build max level parts, be it legendary (in case of sport cars and up) or epic (classic sports and muscle cars). You can buy them in the store, of course.
@lg238283 No, you don't have to spend gold at all, as always. But you have the possibility. It is your choice. You want better car or you want it sooner? You can pay. Are you not skilled enough to finish some of the events? You can buy yourself out of it. Do you have long sleep or long breaks without your phone, so you miss a lot of tickets? You can buy new ones for gold. But everytime there is another way - just play your races throughout the day, do as few mistakes as possible, and you get the car in the end, no gold required.

please tll me how i can win this without tons of gold??? I mean there are alwys these points where you have to redo several races to get the parts to increase the level of your care else you can't do the rqces with a minimum level requirement. And then you don't have these anymore for the next new races. Plus the last day has so many races. I mean with just 6 tickets and new tickets after 50 minutes it seems impossible. And i don't sit there 24h a day to play, bc some for some of us the game is not the center of their life so yes of course i miss part of the tickets So yes this is just greedy rip-off by EA. And i'm very pissed bc i have to spend at least 25€ per event to get through it. That is extremely enervating. In the pic below that's ehat i find so enervating and is pure greed from EA which is well known for being one of the most greedy video game companies.
