devils run special event
fyi, just finsihed day 1 of the devils run special event and there's no replay events for farming parts/cash, lets hope the event is designed so it can be finished without spending gold.................

on the topic of spending gold to complete the event, i was thinking rather than buying bps at 450 each, how about buying epic parts at 400 each once you're at 4 stars? thoughts?
@richieluv76 My recommendation would be to buy Lamborghini Diablo SV blueprints than to buy Epic performance parts, just as scottfollett had said.
But in the end, it's up to you. 😉

There will def be replay events...
@scottfollett Don't be too sure.

they will probably be events that don't involve moving up in the standings...
And those would be Time Trials and Nitro Rushes when you're supposed to be "making up for lost time". However, you're doing what it says which is to "make up for lost time". You're not supposed to sit around, drink a cup of tea, and treat those as Sunday drives. You're in a rush to finish Devil's Run in 1st place.
Have you played Need For Speed The Run before?
Devil's Run is exactly like Need For Speed The Run, but with less intensity.
@TheRealJony @scottfollett i appreciate your input and i think on the whole i agree with both of you, but here's my thoughts behind it,
1/ if previous events are anything to go by, to max out the car will require buying 8 * bp packs from the event store which works out to 3600 gold
2/ in previous events to have any chance of completing the event you have to farm replay events like a mad man to earn enough credits/parts to increase the pr enough to reach the end, but this event appeas to not have replay events
3/ now lets assume that firemonkeys are going to screw us on this event, i believe that there will come a point where parts/materials/bps will need to be purchased from the event store
4/ if your primary concern is completing the event and can live with having to wait for the extra bps then 6 * epic parts is only 2400 gold and will give a massive pr increase (hopefully enough to complete the event) and still allow room for installing any materials earned throughout the event
dont get me wrong, i'd rather not have to spend gold to complete the event, i'm just thinking which would be the "best investment"

@richieluv76 I found this.

Remember that it's NOT 100% guaranteed.
Also, you can do what you guys normally do: Purposely fail the last event of each chapter (in case of no races that can be replayed) and grind Event Credits. lol XD

Now I won't let my Lamborghini Diablo SV get away from me. I gotten every single special event car in No Limits and this is no exception. 😉
I don't have enough Gold to buy any Lamborghini Diablo SV blueprints at the moment, so no Gold has been spent for now. (I'll only be able to buy 5 Lamborghini Diablo SV blueprints during the special event)

I think you've already made up your mind on what you're going to do.
It's up to you on how you spent your Gold. People can suggest and recommend on what you should spent Gold on, but you make the final call.
@NFS_Sandro You're at 619, im at 620. There arent enough opponents as there are police cars, they are much more in number. OUCH! LOL My lambo took a hit of the laser beam. It just lowers down the speed and steers itself. But it was fun though, keeps us excited.
Good Luck!
@NFS_Sandro Well i dont wait and watch. Important parts include that of engine & turbo, they increase more PR and if i see those parts in special event store, i buy them instantly. What if you dont have the part you require, the next day? Dont take any chances, rest is upto you.
Enjoy..!
@vipucho normally i look to upgrade gearbox and wheels as ive found better acceleration can be the key in a lot of races

We have now in day 3 replay races called Rest Stop with mistery prices as usual
@NFS_Sandro I'm both right and wrong about races that can be replayed. 😉

Again, it won't look very good for its story.Hopefully I'm wrong, but I won't be surprised if I'm right.
fyi, i did buy some bps in the end so with the day 3 bps i'm now up to stage 5 and theres some bad news cuz its 40 bps to get to stage 6, so most likely it'll be 40 bps to stage 7 as well
Could anybody tell me the number of BP's we'd be getting in each, upcoming days? I think it'll be 20 in day 4 & 5 and probably 25 in day 6 & 7, am i right?
I only just found out there was an update - I was getting confused as to why every day I logged in for last couple of days it advertised the event but when I tried to join there was no event. I had to update. I hope I finish - the event is saying I have 6 days left so I hope it doesn't lie given you all finished day 3.
@PaladineUK not to worry. This event has rolling start which means your 7 days start counting from the moment you enter the event. The positive side is that you will know in advance what to expect each day instead of guessing.

Appropriate PR level for the Diablo
Perhaps refraining from any further upgrades would be even more appropriate? 👿
