fyi, just finsihed day 1 of the devils run special event and there's no replay events for farming parts/cash, lets hope the event is designed so it can be finished without spending gold................

This Devil's Run special event is like "Racing for your life" in Need For Speed The Run. Anyone played Need For Speed The Run before? If you did, then you would know what I'm talking about. Need For Speed The Run involves competing against 150 racers (with cops as disruptions) to win the jackpot. Devil's Run special event involves competing against 100 racers (with cops as disruptions) to win the jackpot. In Need For Speed The Run, people will either gain a set amount of positions or make up for lost time. People can't do the previous event they just finished as they're racing for their lives. In Devil's Run, people will either gain a set amount of positions or make up for lost time. I don't think there will be any races that can be replayed in Devil's Run special event as it doesn't make any sense doing a race that you already gained positions for. Here's an example. You're supposed to be gaining positions to be 1st at the end of the special event, not to gain 3 positions to 97th and then race again to gain the exact same 3 positions to 97th. It doesn't look very good for its story. If there are races that can be replayed, it will most likely be the races to "make up for lost time". Those would be Time Trials and Nitro Rushes. However, I still doubt those races can be replayed as well when you're supposed to be making up lost time and not to frolic around. Again, it won't look very good for its story. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I won't be surprised if I'm right. Devil's Run special event will bring me some Need For Speed The Run nostalgia feels, but Need For Speed The Run is a lot more intense when you're racing for your life. 😉

@JSkyer don't know, it still shows blueprints in my case... maybe you have already bought some BPs and now have 7* car?

@Thostar - yes, there is a new car serie for the Diablo. Also, there are two new events, BPs in Crates and BPs in replayable races - it really seems that EA made a mistake and started all those events (together with the tournament) one day earlier! Also worth noticing that for the first time some new replayable races are used (CH9 and CH14 instead of CH6 and CH17).

The event wasnt that hard as we all were expecting. Infact the last race was the simplest of them all, I thought it'd a minute long race with excessive police force and throwing lasers at us but nah, it turned out to be the opposite. Thanks EA, now be kind and give us the remaining BP's as a complimentary gift 😉 Screenshot 1- Before finishing the last race. Screenshot 2- After finishing the event. They should also show some after event celebrations and stuff. Anyway, congrats to all who got the car and hard luck who didnt. Watch out for 2 fastlane events. And a random thought, I wonder if any girl plays this game or is it just us guys? LOL :D Cheers guys.. Enjoy!

Finally got it. Las part I needed the ecu kit took its time to show in cash price. I spent between 400 and 500 gold in some individual materials and repetitions because I couldn't use all my tickets everytime and also for some mess ups I did in a couple of races

Also, you can do what you guys normally do: Purposely fail the last event of each chapter (in case of no races that can be replayed) and grind Event Credits. lol XD

I think you've already made up your mind on what you're going to do.

It's up to you on how you spent your Gold. People can suggest and recommend on what you should spent Gold on, but you make the final call.

@richieluv76 my suggestion would be to buy the BPs if you have enough gold, because BPs are harder to get than parts after SE. Once finished SE then you will only be able to get BPs with special replay races that are enable for short periods and they come as mistery price so no guarantee to get lots of them per round and it can take a long time that to be enabled again once its done. On the other hand with all possible stars you can upgrade parts in normal game with normal parts and scrap points, of course it will be harder to upgrade parts at normal game than in SE but at least will be possible (if you dont have enough stars you will be limited)

The only consideration to take is if you need more PR to win the SE races, in that case parts are the best choice

My conclusion will be to wait as long as possible to take that decision in a point where you can feel confident to go in one or the other option, probably last day if you don't stuck before

2nd day done, no replay races as expected. Looking forward for day 3 as we are raising few positions this is going to get mad at some point, I like to think in crazy races with lots of cars and police cars lol
Talking about something crazy wow with the electric beam from polices haha

@NFS_Sandro You're at 619, im at 620. There arent enough opponents as there are police cars, they are much more in number. OUCH! LOL My lambo took a hit of the laser beam. It just lowers down the speed and steers itself. But it was fun though, keeps us excited.

@vipucho something I usually do is wait next day and check all the material prices before start then I buy the ones that don't come that day so I won't get repetitive materials, unless I want them for upgrades. That's why I'm saving my last cash 🙂

@NFS_Sandro Well i dont wait and watch. Important parts include that of engine & turbo, they increase more PR and if i see those parts in special event store, i buy them instantly. What if you dont have the part you require, the next day? Dont take any chances, rest is upto you.

@vipucho normally i look to upgrade gearbox and wheels as ive found better acceleration can be the key in a lot of races

We have now in day 3 replay races called Rest Stop with mistery prices as usual

fyi, i did buy some bps in the end so with the day 3 bps i'm now up to stage 5 and theres some bad news cuz its 40 bps to get to stage 6, so most likely it'll be 40 bps to stage 7 as well
