Does XBOX ONE version support Impulse Triggers?

I have a PS4 and am getting an XBOX ONE.  After seeing a demo for the impulse triggers I really love the feature.  Does the XBOX ONE version use the Impulse Triggers?  If not, I'll pick up the PS4 version now and not wait until Friday.

It used impulse triggers and and feel is better on Xbox One.

    "

EA Ghosts' Luke Herbert, a game designer on Need for Speed Rivals, at first struggled to come up with any non-graphical differences between the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game.

"What we've actually tried to do is push all the consoles to their limits and what we want to offer is the same experience for Xbox 360 players and Xbox One players," he said. "Yes there is a difference in terms of visual quality.

But in terms of gameplay we've tried to keep that as similar as possible."

But as we played the game one subtle improvement in the Xbox One version emerged: the game takes full advantage of the Xbox One controller's Impulse Triggers.

"What we've also got as well is the trigger rumble on Xbox One, which is kind of cool. Our driving experience team were very big on this. they wanted the player feedback in the controller and they've been working very hard on that,"

Herbert explained. "It's all about immersing the player in the experience—that they are in control of the car, and that the car is also fighting against them. You're driving around in these vehicles that can go 200 miles per hour, and you really feel it in the triggers."(source- complex gaming)

This may provide the answer for you, http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/controllers/wireless-controller

"Experience the action like never before with the Xbox One Wireless Controller. New Impulse Triggers deliver fingertip vibration feedback, so you can feel every jolt and crash in high definition.* Redesigned thumbsticks and an all new D-pad provide greater precision. And the entire controller fits more comfortably in your hands. With over 40 innovations, it’s simply the best controller Xbox has ever made."

  • The link just shows the specs for the controller.  I want to know if Need for Speed Rivals uses the Impulse Triggers on XBOX ONE like the new Forza does.

  • I have been playing the early access, and it rarely rumbles or vibrates with feedback. You just seem to feel it when you first drive off from a stand still. Very difficult to drift without this feeling, but i cannot seem to find it in the settings to see if its adjustable.
