Downgrade Porsche RSR 1973!!!

Another big problem in NFS Heat about gameplay: for the 3rd time, (NFS 2015/2016, NFS Patback, NFS Heat), the Porsche 1973 RSR is OVERPOWERED!

This issue can be considered as a "cheat by development" and needs to stop. If in recent titles you could face the RSR by using the  Mustang 1965 or Nissan Fairlady 240Z using a perfect tuning or skills in NFS Heat you are almost dead in any way you try.

Please rebalance this car performane so every player can use his fav car to play with and not be forced to compete with the only one car that has cheated advantage and may be considered ugly or sounds bad or ... whatever for some players!

This car is ridiculous fast compared to other cars!!!

  • I will agree with you that the car is overpowered. However there are many other cars that can beat it by a landslide, and I can name off ten of them off the top of my head. It all comes down to how well you drive your car in this game. Just the other day I smoked over three of them with the M3 GTR, and I didn't even have to use the more powerful engine that's available for it. If it's any consolation. The car weighs almost next to nothing in real life. So if you put two and two together. A car that's as light as the Porsche with that much power would be a monster in real life.

I'm just providing my two cents. We'll see how the ghost devs handle the situation.

    Cheers!

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Got all but one of the achievements for the game and that's my competitive side done with this game.

Due to the nature of the game society, there will always be kids who have to use the OP cars, guns, characters etc. (usually because they're overcompensating for lack-of-talent)

Do the races for entertainment, the credits gain and try not to think about it too much. Like I say, they're the ones exploiting the games mechanics for an unfair advantage, not you.

It's like a womens cycling event but a man "wins" it. Sure, he got the gold, but he isn't a woman and won't ever be the fastest woman.

  •   adamburger16: There is no way you can beat the full spec RSR with the M3 GTR middle to high spec if you compete against human player unless you compete against a beginner. There may be some cars, (can you name at least 5 from 100+ cars?), THAT CAN KEEP UP if the RSR player has DECENT skills but it is very hard work to pass him.

AScruffyNerd: The game has PEGI16 rating... it is true that anyone at that age is considered a kid but at 16 y.o. every normal kid has enough cognitive perception to adapt any car in this game to go fast enough... but not against the RSR. We don't talk about real life car specs + engine swaps, we talk about a CAR GAME with over 100 cars... cars that should have similar or close performance so every player should enjoy his favourite choices and not otherwise.

I would definitely have to say that the people I normally race with are of equal skill level to me because the race outcomes change all the time. I will win a few races with a certain car, and then we'll switch it up. Vice versa, and so on. So to answer your question about what cars can compete with the Porsche. I can name off quite a few

    - BMW M3 GTR

    - PAGANI HUAYRA BC

    - MITSUBISHI LANCER EVO 9

    - NISSAN FAIRLADY Z 432

    - LAMBORGHINI HURACAN

    - ASTON MARTIN VULCAN

    - KOENIGSEGG REGERA - If tuned right, and driven right

    - BMW M3 E92 - If driven right

    - CHEVROLET CORVETTE K.S. EDITION - If tuned right, and driven right

    - 2018 BMW M5 - If tuned right, and driven right

So far with those cars I really have no trouble keeping up with the RSR, and about 80% of the time( Don't quote me on this. It could be less) I'll win the race. It all comes down to the driver in this game, and what they put on their cars. If you follow one universal setup on a car. You won't be faster than your other competitors. Experiment with your cars. That's all I can tell you.

    Cheers!

  • I really could care less about winning races or being high on any leader boards, when they have them.  The payout of the PvP race may be a little less, but I do still get paid in the end; one of the reasons that I always wait for players to get ahead before I start driving.

But still, there's shouldn't be overwhelming differences in between the cars in this game.  If one car is light, then all cars should have the option to get lighter chassis; if one car has enormous horsepower, then all cars should have to option to switch to a high hp motor; vice-versa for drivetrain options, every car should have every option, it's not like a RL car can't have these options, it just depends on how much a person is willing to spend on building their ride.

I have an RSR tuned to perfection and also went against every car here that were tuned 400+ and I have lapped some of them the only 2 that came close were the corvette and the lancer and I still beat them by like 800 meters
