Driving and gameplay problem

Anyone else does not like the fact that this game driving compared to the need for speed payback sucks. The car turning is super stiff and drifting is Super BAD!!!

  • @gamenater31 I found the drifting here to be quite enjoyable...
The problem is the actual drift events. It takes way too much speed to get a decent drift, speed which you can't really get.

Need for speed payback had a very smooth drifting. I always slowed down before a corner. Also, I use to play need for speed in hard and it was enjoyable. I do understand your point. But what I meant is for this game it's not as smooth as NFS payback or NFS 2015.

@GUCCIxADIDAS "I noticed that the control has not changed much compared to the Payback and still needs to be improved"

On this, I completely agree with you

This very much depends on your car as much as it does on components (suspension, differential, and tires).

I have been testing all the various supercars and maxed low-level beaters around the Speedway circuit. On my Ford GT, I've been able to complete the 4 laps within 1:31 (fastest car so far, with best handling), versus a 400+ VW Beetle (700+ torque, easily climbs to >220mph) which cannot handle turning at high speeds at all and feels super stiff (about 1:40-1:45 time).

I've found that there are only a few select cars that are able to maintain their steering capabilities at high speeds, whereas other cars just simply go too fast to turn. This can be seen with cars like the Koenigsegg Regera, 400+ Nissan Silvia, etc.

I can post a more detailed list if you're interested, but it simply comes down to a matter of trade-offs. Given your car selection, you're effectively choosing between handling and speed. The more speed you choose, the less handling you get.
