I'm not familiar with this error code. Can you try the solution listed here? It might help in this situation. I would also recommend checking the sticky. If nothing worked, can you check if you have any kind of parental control settings that could block the connection? Let us know how it goes.

Having the same issue as of today on Ps4 has been working fine

  I just got this game about four days ago, and now whenever i try to play it, it says that I need to be signed into EA (i am) and it says error code 40050000. Please help? it would be greatly apreciated.

    I am from Germany so this ins The error Screen. I Played 2h and than Game Show me that error and now i cant play anymore.
