I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues. Some of the things you mentioned we are currently investigating and should be resolved as soon as possible. Meanwhile, please take a look at this thread:

Main steps that have solved these issues for other users:
- Turn on UPNP--check your router's manual for instructions on how to do this
- Open ports
- Clear persistent storage
- Note that you can't do both steps. Either turn on UPNP, or open your ports.
