Fix the traffic!!!

you have 283 days of played time on need for speed 2016? good lord do you work? Stop leeching off welfare.  But I do agree the AI traffic is * at best. Every single corner you can expect a car to randomly be there EVERYTIME everytime your about to get good distance on the police HAHA!!!! A stupid flatbed tow driver stops in the middle of a 4 lane intersection for NO reason as theres NO traffic ahead of him.

Traffic in this game is * at best. 

What's so special about my gameplay hours? I think I had more than 10.000h on NFS MW 2005 when servers were closed... and I don't think I was the only one.

The thing is I have enough experience to say that NFS heat has a traffic issue. 

It does, and as I said in TC2, there's a simple easy solution to fixing it.  Increase the traffic spawn distance = No more issues with random - in your face spawns.  

Here's the settings that I use in TDU2:

Edit:

- Max Vehicle Count = 40

- Max Traffic Count = 40

- Parked Cars = 10

- Physics Max Count = 10

Culling Config

- 1st Radius = 10,000, 2nd Radius = 15,000 (testing this one, usually 30,000), FOV (Field of view) = 100,000

Spawn Distances

- Min Spawn Distance = 12,000, Max Spawn Distance = 100,000

This is probably considered a bit extreme, but to me it makes traffic feel more realistic.

There is no .cfg file for AI traffic in this game... and for most games in the last 10 years.

That's not surprising, however the key  fix remains the same. 

Every ai setting, even in current games, has a minimum and maximum spawn distance, thus Increasing the minimum spawn distance of traffic will prevent them from spawning so close.  Of course it goes without saying that increasing the minimum distance means also increasing the maximum distance.

Traffic here is as bad as Payback. They stop in the middle of an intersection for no reason, they suddenly change lane just when you are about to pass them etc etc. Heck even today during freeroam in daytime a car entered the highway through an intersection and the moment it was turning left it suddenly tilted to the right when I was about to pass it and of course I ended up crashing it and went straight out of the highway into the bushes. The traffic in this game are just moving barriers that do their best to make you crash into them. It reminds me of the AI in GTA Online where they always tried to get in your way when you delivered a car.

Its not just the traffic, the racer AI is bad too. They almost always use you as a wall when turning side by side and send you into the barriers or the walls. I have noticed that an AI racer called Dani who drives a black Lambo Countach or Diablo almost always tries to force you off the road and crashes into you. That guy/girl crashed into me at least 4 times today even when I was ahead.

this is #1 problem i have with this game. the AI traffic is just ridiculous. especially in places where there shouldn't be any traffic at all. there's a Drift Zone called "No Shopping Zone" in Edgewood Valley that's based at a abandoned shopping mall. yet the traffic there seemed like there was a huge convention going on. probably took me a good hour just to get 3 stars. now i'm stuck at a Speed Trap at Fort Callahan(River Fever). the traffic there is like rush hour. if you're going to give us this much traffic, fine... then gives us a "Rewind" button. for Drift Zones, "Ghost" out the traffic completely. this game needs to learn a few things from Forza Horizon 4.

I did some math on your 6800 hours of game play.

I figured out that equals out to 283 days of game play. 

So I'm assuming you have these in the NFS 2015 game or in NFS Payback game.

There is no way you could have 6800 hours (283) days in NFS Heat game. 

Now as to your traffic issue.

In NFS Heat I do not like the pop up A.I car traffic in races or cop chases. 

NFS Payback I really didn't have any issue with the traffic.

In NFS 2015 the roads were boring and traffic I didn't have problems with.

Yep.  As I mentioned in another thread, the traffic specifically targets the player; ignores ai drivers, ignores other traffic.  Ridiculous.
