Frame Rate Drops in NFS Most Wanted PC

I'm wondering if this is normal... my frame rate drops to the low 20s sometimes evecn 15 in certain scenes but usually stays around 25-35 and in some areas goes up to 60fps

All signs point to a patch tomorrow. But just for reference I upgraded my PC this weekend. Upgraded my Asus M4A78T-E (AMD 790GX chipset) motherboard to a Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 (AMD 990X chipset) motherboard and my CPU from an AMD Phenom II X4 955BE (4 core) @ 3.2ghz to an AMD FX 8320BE (8 core) @ 3.5ghz and the game lags even more than before the upgrade. My average fps went from 35 to 29 lol. I hope tomorrows patch addresses these issues.
Thanks EA for taking the time and caring and producing a hopefully good patch to address these issues because me and many other people love this game and wanna play it smoothly and enjoy it.

Here is just an additional information, the team published an article in our help center informing that improvements will be available in an upcoming patch however the exact date is not available at this time:

Can't wait for it, because I might actually be able to play the game without flipping out all the time in frustration lol!
