dont work to set high priority in task manager? its a game code issue. high machine and game runs otrasne

just ctrl+alt_del out thengo back into the game it will give you better fps, I have proof a few pages back.

It makes no difference for me. Probably depends on what hardware you have.

Thank You! Bro,it works. When i didn't use ctrl+alt+del, FPS was 7-8 with extreme graphics and 1080p Full HD, but now, I'm using ctrl+alt+del, FSP is 35 :D Very thanks.. Meantime, I have MSI GE60 Notebook. GT 650M Graphic Card 🙂 

C0zm1c: are you using fraps or something to look at your fps?

my hardware:

CPU: AMD phenom II 945 quad core @3.6GHZ(overclocked)

Ram:8 gigabytes dual channeled

GPU: AMD 6970 2 gigabytes VRAM

so my hardware should run this @50-60fps constantly... but it doesnt YET ctrl-alt-delete does help.
If it doesnt work for you that sucks 😕mileysad:

 you can shut off shadows and turn off headlight shadows that also helps boost it up a bit, turning off anything else didnt help me

COME ON $EA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!  paid for a game, you work, not us ,  above origin is super slow , and I can not buy from Argentina, I'm with foreign accounts, very bad support .

I upgraded my AMD Athlon II X4 640 3Ghz to a Intel i5 3470 3.7Ghz max. and now the stutterings and frame drops are gone.

edit: well, its "stuck" at 30 fps, even though i have lockto30=false

but it still feels like a completely different game. especially with fast cars like bugatti or koenigsegg

edit: it goes over 30 fps now and gpu usage is 98% now

I don't think it's helping me because my framerate is already high, with or without this trick that's working for others. I just hoped it meant I could disable LockTo30 and have a consistent 60fps framerate. Yeah I'm using Fraps. I get 60fps most of the time, but it drops to around 45 or so in places where it stutters. I can get a consistent 60fps if I disable some options but I would rather have the better graphics and a fixed 30 fps.

I'm still convinced the problem lies with the LOD not working. And, comparing it with the PS3 version - where you can see the LOD is working, it's a pretty obvious bug. They shouldn't even need DxDiag dumps to figure that out. At this point, with not even progress updates from the developers after more than a couple of weeks, I honestly don't think a patch is coming.

Still no word from EA or Criterion on when they might bother to fix this unfinished and almost unplayable game?
