G29 steering wheel stopped working in NFS Heat since EA App Update (?)

Issue is STILL NOT FIXED for me. I am running on PC, launching the game on the EA launcher.

I have made sure that GHUB is running and wheel continues to work just fine with other applications, NFS Heat is still the only game it doesn't work for. Like some other people have said, the wheel is being recognized as a generic video game controller, with incorrect button mapping configuration.

This should be plug and play, but the lazy **bleep** at Ghost and EA already have our money, so what do they care about fixing a problem like this?

Same issue. NFS had to update, then the wheel stopped working properly.

I just started having the same issue with Logitech G29. Everything was working fine until I had a brown out during gameplay (power flickered off and then quickly back on.) Ever since then the wheel isn't working properly. Steering hardly works, pedals are useless. A/X button is now mapped to X/Square button (xbox/playstation layout). Accelerate is mapped to L2. D pad does not work and when the wheel is plugged into pc, none of the keyboard buttons work properly either.

The wheel works just fine with FS22 and FH5. But I cannot play NFS heat until this is fixed. I have not been able to find solutions to this problem that are not as old as 2022, and require downloading of 3rd party software, and a lot of troubleshooting, something I am particularly bad at.

EA, you need to fix this. We did not pay top dollar for a game with wheel support that doesn't work with wheels.

having the same issue with my tmx pro. Randomly being recognized as a Xbox controller out of nowhere, re installed the game, EA launcher and Ghub. Still no fix? Ridiculous considering this game is now 6 years old and still has bugs like this
