Update:
I have changed the car, including the paint and decals, and it seems that the freezing issue is solved. Not sure it was because of the model or the custom decal.
Will update again in case the issue reverts.
Community ManagerOne of your drives is fairly small, is that your C:\ drive? Does it have 16GB+ free space?

Yes, I have 29GB free on the C:\ drive, also the swap file and temp files are on the D:\ drive.
The game is installed on D:\Need for Speed folder also.

Community ManagerThanks for the info. Try temporarily disabling any security software, antivirus/firewall etc. and then perform a clean boot before starting the game.

I suspect your antivirus is doing on-access scanning.

Sorry, I have disabled the AVG antivirus, even put exception for the games directory and Game Mode;
I have also disabled Game Mode on Windows 10 as somebody suggested, still nothing changed.
Game is freezing right after the race is over on the window with the race rewards and stats...
Edit:
I have attached a screenshot with the last screen I see before the game freezes without any error. Also for some particular interest, I got this freez error for the past 3-4 times after I finish this same mission....
