Game Keeps Crashing?! (PS4)

Question

Finally started playing Need for Speed 2015 yesterday (Digital Deluxe version) and I have a huge problem that I have no idea how to fix. Whenever I start the game up, I have to mash X to try and get into a lobby, otherwise the game crashes on the main menu. Sometimes this doesn't always work and I have to keep retrying it until it finally does. When in game, everything is okay except I cannot press the touchpad at all to access "Need for Speed Network", as it will cause the game to crash!

This wouldn't be completely terrible if it wasn't for getting constant messages about servers having to close for maintenance, which results in me being kicked to the main menu and yep, the game crashes again once I get there and I have to go through the whole "method" all over again.

I'm playing on PS4 but also tried it on my PS5 and the same result occurred. I've tried other hopeful solutions but nothing has worked so far and I've just had to put up with it annoyingly but yeah... Safe to say it's been a frustrating experience!

Boot the console in Safe Mode and then choose Option 5, Rebuild Database:&nbsp;

That didn't change things either.

Seems to have gotten worse now. Can't get on at all and I've been trying for about an hour!

I start up the game and press X to continue when it appears. The game loads to the menu and then after about 5-10 seconds, the game crashes.
