Improved performance.  Less studdering.  Night time with cops has not caused a serious issue yet.

The stutter was reduced significantly after the patch but it is by no means a flawless experience. The drivers didnt make any difference whatsoever

    +i am starting to think we are coping with any minor stutters now an calling the game fixed, because the launch version was such a stuttery mess that the patch really made a night and day difference.

    Now i dont know about intel processors since i dont own one but experience on ryzen still isnt very great

      I performed a clean installed of Nvidia's latest drivers. No significant improvements came with this update - I am still experiencing hectic lag and stuttering. I have a GTX 1050 4GB, 8GB DDR4, Core i5-7300HQ and Windows 10 Pro. Changing graphic settings doesn't make a difference, still experience lag on all settings (low, medium, high). Has there been any updates regarding a patch for this game. I am not playing this game as much due to the stuttering hampering everything ☹️

        @koeks525 you need more RAM, 16 at least. imo (it might not help you but it did for me in NFS2015 and continues into Payback)

        Guess we are never going to get a fix. I said numerus times in numerus posts i dont know why ea is blaming the drivers and everything else if it is clearly a game engine issue

        @×××CROMxxx i dont have any problems in tunels or the desert or what its called, the stutters only occur in the city are but were fixed dramaticaly after the progression patch. Strange you noticed any diference with the new drivers.

        Haha probably not to powerfull. I remember i had the same issue with nfs 2015 where it would (if the framerate was unlocket) just jump up and down (the fps i mean). It seems that frostbite engine doesnt like ryzen very much, or its just the developers lack of interest in making the game run as it should.

        The thing that really bugs me is for example forza 7 (which had its fair share of issuses) works like butter, whit more detail in one car headlight than payback has to offer on the whole screen.

        My point beeing how can a game like that run in 4k on ultra with 24 cars on screen with not one stutter, but payback with its outdated graphics cant hold a steady picture motion on 1080p.

        Dont get me wrong i love the nfs series, but since ghost started implementing the crappy frostbite engine (started with the run if i remember correctly) it has been one stuttery mess after another
