how do i mute my mic for multiplayer im using a laptop

i am using a laptop and i have noticed that there is no option to make it push to talk in the origin menu or the NFS options. it is also silly that i dont have the option to mute all other players a...

They did the same in NFS the Run.  I guess they just think its amusing to always have someone yapping in your ear most times in another language.  Was the main reason I stopped playing Multiplayer.  Nothing says enjoyment like feed back looping blowing out your ears.
